Page has worked as an educator in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 14 years as a classroom teacher, literacy specialist, and writing coach. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in human rights education at the University of San Francisco.
Over the 2011-2012 school year, Page is coordinating a research team of teachers to explore social justice and human rights in Bay Area classrooms. The team will construct new knowledge and deepen understandings of how issues of justice and equity can be integrated into the curriculum and into classroom culture.
